Reid Hinesley
Principal/Builder
Reid Hinesley is principal & founder of Reid & Company Construction. Reid was born and raised in a small farm town in Indiana, graduated from Purdue University and started his professional construction career working during one of the biggest housing booms we’d seen. He managed upwards of 30 half a million to $1Million homes on any given day while being mentored by an accomplished Master Builder and several other seasoned professional builders. This gave him the experience of working for a Fortune 500 company and a top 10 national builder, in Northern Virginia & Maryland serving the highly demanding greater Washington DC market.
Having fallen in love with the mountains and lakes of Tennessee while visiting with his family growing up, he jumped at the opportunity to relocate to Nashville, TN in 2004. Excelling in the construction field as an award winning project manager whom had successfully completed construction of 400+ homes, he was promoted to Division Cost Manager. This inevitably helped sharpen his skills in negotiation and knowledge of quality and cost of materials and labor with the increased responsibility of budgeting, sourcing and contracting trades & suppliers for 300+ homes annually. He is also a certified LEED Green Associate-an accredited qualification tough to obtain.
Always motivated by a challenge and excited to expand his knowledge base of construction, Reid accepted the opportunity to move into management with a very reputable Commercial Construction company, Solomon Builders. In commercial business development and project management, he gained much wisdom and experience in large scale multi-million dollar projects.
Then God opened the doors to start Reid and Company Construction in 2008. Today, he is humbled that the continued growth and success of the business has come from referrals of clients and relationships. Reid has been honored to build several hundred homes from the ground up, finish countless high-end/extensive renovations, and successfully complete numerous commercial builds over the past two decades.
Aside from construction, he is blessed to live here locally with his wife, 2 daughters and son.
