When you walk into a home built by Reid & Company Construction, we don’t want you to feel like you’ve ever seen another like it, which is why we work with phenomenal suppliers and vendors to provide custom products (when desired) like the reclaimed barn wood seen throughout much of our homes. We sourced and milled those woods from historic buildings and structures being torn down to bring new life and character to our homes. We are your boutique local builder, which is why we limit the number of homes and projects we build each year. This ensures your home is built above industry standard with a trusted trade base for consistent workflow and quality craftsmanship.

Reid Hinesley
Principal/Builder
Reid Hinesley is principal & founder of Reid & Company Construction. Reid was born and raised in a small farm town in Indiana, graduated from Purdue University and started his professional construction career working during one of the biggest housing booms we’d seen. He managed upwards of 30 half a million to $1Million homes on any given day while being mentored by an accomplished Master Builder and several other seasoned professional builders. This gave him the experience of working for a Fortune 500 company and a top 10 national builder, in Northern Virginia & Maryland serving the highly demanding greater Washington DC market.
Having fallen in love with the mountains and lakes of Tennessee while visiting with his family growing up, he jumped at the opportunity to relocate to Nashville, TN in 2004. Excelling in the construction field as an award winning project manager whom had successfully completed construction of 400+ homes, he was promoted to Division Cost Manager. This inevitably helped sharpen his skills in negotiation and knowledge of quality and cost of materials and labor with the increased responsibility of budgeting, sourcing and contracting trades & suppliers for 300+ homes annually. He is also a certified LEED Green Associate-an accredited qualification tough to obtain.
Always motivated by a challenge and excited to expand his knowledge base of construction, Reid accepted the opportunity to move into management with a very reputable Commercial Construction company, Solomon Builders. In commercial business development and project management, he gained much wisdom and experience in large scale multi-million dollar projects.
Then God opened the doors to start Reid and Company Construction in 2008. Today, he is humbled that the continued growth and success of the business has come from referrals of clients and relationships. Reid has been honored to build several hundred homes from the ground up, finish countless high-end/extensive renovations, and successfully complete numerous commercial builds over the past two decades.
Aside from construction, he is blessed to live here locally with his wife, 2 daughters and son.
Coley Hinesley
DIRECTOR OF CONSTRUCTION
Coley has over 20 years of experience in homebuilding. He has been employed by various national homebuilders in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C. and Tennessee. He started as a
Project Manager and quickly was promoted to Area Construction Manager and then onto Director of Construction. While working as an Area Manager in The Washington, D.C. market, Coley received the Pro Award for Builder of the Year by the Mid-Atlantic Homebuilders Association. This award was in the category for 145+ homes under construction.
Throughout his tenure, Coley has been fortunate enough to manage the building process of over 4,000 homes in the price range of $250,000.00 to $2,000,000.00. His experience includes the building of stacked condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes. Coley enjoys watching each project go from concept to completion. It brings him great joy to be a part of building every homeowner’s dream home. He enjoys working closely with each homeowner, making sure that their expectations are not only met, but exceeded.
When Coley is not busy with Reid & Company, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids. He coaches football and basketball in the Nashville area. He also enjoys watching his daughter compete in gymnastics and cheerleading. When you meet Coley, you can tell he enjoys the gym. He is a IFBB professional bodybuilder and is always preparing for his next competition. It is evident, he is goal-oriented, driven, and has a track record of reaching positive results both personally and professionally which will give you confidence he’ll help guide your job to a quality completion.
Whitney Hinesley
COST & ESTIMATION MANAGER
Whitney graduated from Purdue University before beginning his career in the homebuilding industry in Nashville, TN in 2005 as an estimator for a national renowned builder. Whitney has years of experience in administrative project management, estimation of commercial development, and site supervision. He worked as an Estimator/Project Superintendent on several multi-million dollar commercial projects for highly accredited JE Dunn Construction before coming on board with Reid and Company.
Currently, he is conducting cost analysis and project estimation for Reid & Co. Construction. His estimating services and construction management have covered a wide variety of projects including medical office buildings, hospitals, ground-up single family homes, major renovations and tenant finish work. He resides here in Nashville with his wife and 2 boys.
Gatlin Hinesley
PROJECT MANAGER
Gatlin is a graduate of Purdue University with a degree in Ag Econ & is an Arborist. He also holds a TDEC certification for Storm Water Management and Erosion Control. Past experience includes Commercial landscape & excavation management as well as Roofing and siding specialist.
Currently you can find him supervising Reid & Co. job sites with tasks of keeping projects on schedule and on budget and meeting with customers and vendors to ensure we meet and exceed expectations. He manages multiple custom and high end ground up new construction and whole home luxury renovations for Reid & Company.
Ashley Hinesley
VP OF SALES & MARKETING
Ashley was born and raised in Tennessee, is a 3rd generation real estate agent, and has been in real estate sales and marketing since 2005. She graduated magna cum laud from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a BS in Marketing and Management.
Ashley began her career with 10 years in new construction sales and, with majority of her business coming from past clients and referrals, she has been blessed to help hundreds of homeowners find, build and renovate their ideal homes. She specializes in 4 Middle Tn counties serving Wilson, Davidson, Williamson and Sumner County. Currently, Ashley manages the sales and marketing aspects of Reid & Company and is an accredited buyer’s and seller’s representative. She has been honored to receive several prestigious awards with various builders and real estate associations such as Sales Rep of the year, Top Volume awards, Top 5 in Company, Top Sales rep of multiple sales quarters, Realtor Association High Volume awards, & 5 years worth of top customer service awards.
Ashley resides in Wilson County with her husband, 2 daughters and son.
